    How to make a wicked chilli-con-carne

    How to open a bank account

    How to view houses and compare them to each other

    My abilities in the kitchen are improving, slowly but surely!

    How to manage my finances

    How to clean an oven

    How to organise a rehearsal schedule

    How to edit audio clips

    How to create a spoof video

    How to structure an essay

    How to organise my own travel and be as safe as possible

    How to treat myself with a good magazine and some tasty chocolate at the end of a long week

    How to try to stay in touch with old friends and be there for them when they need me

    How to develop new friendships and be a more reliable friend during those busy and difficult times we all go through

    How to find the best deals in farmer’s and indoor markets

    How to source and customise costume for a cast of twenty people

    How to design and paint a set

    How to find the best advice for a variety of issues

    How to work in a group towards an important deadline

    How to give a clear, engaging and informative presentation to a room of people

    How to push on through a long day of workshops and to still get up the next morning for more hard work

    How to start a blog

    How to serve pints to over-excited Welsh rugby fans

    I still don't quite understand the daffodils on heads!

    How to write professional emails

    How to address problems in an assertive and confident fashion

    How to harmonise in a Gospel choir

    How to organise my life so that I can be involved in as many things as possible

    How to decide whether going out for a ‘quiet one or two’ is actually the best idea

    How to be proud of my own roots but learn so much from other people with different stories

    The very familiar surroundings of the Atrium Library

    How to analyse facts and opinions of others to form my own viewpoint

    How to keep up to date with everything that’s happening in the city and to try and take advantage of the convenience of it all

    How to believe in my own ideas and try to share them with others

    How to listen so that the information actually stays there rather than going in one ear and out the other

    How to cheer Ireland on in a pub, surrounded by English or Welsh fans

    How to be brave and try new things and to appreciate that sometimes we have to push ourselves to do things that make us uncomfortable so that we learn something new

    How to avoid falling in high heels (almost!)

    At least I wasn't on a catlwalk!

    How to overcome homesickness and relish in my independence
